General conditions

Article 1 – Definitions.

1.1. Entrepreneur: The natural or legal person who provides a platform to put consumers in contact with contractors for construction projects.
1.2. Consumer: The natural person not acting in the exercise of a profession or business who enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
1.3. Distance contract: An agreement whereby, within the framework of a system organized by the entrepreneur for distance selling of products and/or services, up to and including the conclusion of the agreement, exclusive use is made of one or more techniques for distance communication.

Article 2 – Identity of the entrepreneur

2.1. Name of entrepreneur: DFBASE B.V.
2.2. Chamber of Commerce number: 92446558

Article 3 – Applicability.

3.1. These general terms and conditions apply to any use of the platform by the consumer and to any mediation provided by the entrepreneur between the consumer and the contractor.
3.2. Before the consumer uses the services of the entrepreneur, the text of these general terms and conditions shall be made available to the consumer.

Article 4 – The offer

4.1. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the mediation services offered by the entrepreneur.
4.2. The offer clearly states that the use of the entrepreneur’s services is free of charge and without obligation.

Article 5 – The Agreement

5.1. The agreement concerns the use of the entrepreneur’s mediation service and comes into effect as soon as the consumer makes an application through the platform.
5.2. The entrepreneur shall confirm receipt of the consumer’s application electronically without delay.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal

Article 7 – Costs in case of withdrawal

This article is not applicable because there is no cost associated with the service.

Article 8 – The price

This article is not applicable because there are no fees or prices associated with the service.

Article 9 – Conformity and warranty

9.1. The entrepreneur guarantees that the mediation service complies with the agreement and the specifications stated in the offer.

Article 10 – Delivery and execution

10.1. The operator will take the utmost care when receiving and processing applications through the platform.
10.2. The service is performed digitally by providing contact information to the consumer.

Article 11 – Payment

Not applicable
This article does not apply because the service is free of charge.

Article 12 – Complaints procedure

12.1. Complaints about the performance of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur within a reasonable time, fully and clearly described.
12.2. Complaints submitted to the entrepreneur will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt.

Article 13 – Disputes.

13.1. Contracts between the entrepreneur and the consumer to which these general terms and conditions relate are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
